While the recovery process hasn’t been easy, she’s making steady progress. Now she can text while using crutches!

The “Secret Life” star is in good company. Fellow ABC Family star, Randy Wayne also had recent knee surgery after a motorbike accident in Thailand.

We wish them both safe and speedy recoveries!

Harry Styles was sent underwear by US fans. A hotel worker told Daily Star: ‘We were bombarded with young women coming into the hotel to drop off gifts for Harry. We’ve had hair products and DVDs, but most of it was underwear, in Victoria’s Secret bags.’

As colors go, gray can get a bad rap for being dull and drab. Gray skies? Blah. Gray days? Gloomy. But when it comes to sophisticated style, a mist-colored gown can make for one colorful statement—as demonstrated by a pair of “Glee”-ful girls at the SAG Awards last Sunday. There was nothing grim or ghostly about these gray ladies as they walked the red carpet in two of the evening’s most stunning looks. Whose gray glimmer was a cut above the rest of the palette? And whose leggy look cut a little too deep?

Naya Rivera was a stone-cold stunner when she took to the red carpet in this Naeem Kahn gown, winning Style Superstar honors with subtle sparkle, a plunging neckline and a classic silhouette. The almost-lavender gray of the dress is a perfect complement to the warm bronze tones in Naya’s skin, and this understated look—with soft waves and only the barest accessories—is sophisticated without being showy.

Another “Glee” lady in gray at the SAGs: Lea Michele, who sported a silvery Versace bandage dress with an asymmetrical neckline, cool textural details and the mother of all sky-high slits. But lovely as Lea’s legs are, this was a cut above the line of good taste; we spent all night worrying that she might accidentally flash us, and Lea herself spent too much time during the evening nervously adjusting and tugging on her skirt to keep everything covered.

The first bit of casting news for the big-screen adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s “Beautiful Creatures” has finally been conjured, and it is spellbinding indeed: Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis has signed on to play Amma, according to a statement from Alcon Entertainment.

For the uninitiated, the Southern gothic series follows teen Ethan Wate, whose nightmares have been haunted for months by an unknown beauty. When he finally comes face to face with his dream girl (the raven-haired Lena Duchannes), he discovers they have an undeniable connection that cannot be ignored… And that she’s a witch (known in this mythology as a “caster”).

Viola’s character, Amma, is a no-nonsense “seer” who looks after Ethan and his father after Ethan’s mother’s death. And she’s hiding a few secrets of her own. If you ask us, securing an Oscar nominee early in the casting process certainly bodes well for the many roles left to fill, including Ethan, Lena and her powerful uncle Macon Ravenwood. Production will begin in New Orleans in April.

This week, MTV’s newest scripted show, “I Just Want My Pants Back,” kicks off, following the dating lives of a group of 20-somethings in New York City. It’s kind of like a darker, raunchier “Friends” (with a touch of “Sex and the City” thrown in for good measure). And, who doesn’t love that? So, in honor of the show’s premiere this Thursday we are showing some love to the three guys on the series and naming them our Hump Day Hotties. (Also, they are sharing their worst date memories! So, indulge yourself in their misfortunes, ladies!)

And I, hand to God, did that. I was like, she’ll think I’m deep. Oh god! Panic mode! It’s my last 20 bucks.”
